Do I need to hire an eLearning Project Manager?
An eLearning Project Manager ensures training initiatives run smoothly, stay on schedule, and remain on budget.

Blended Healthcare Training That Excels
How custom eLearning development helped prepare a global staff of newly hired healthcare professionals to work together in a new facility in Qatar

Alfardan Medical with Northwestern Medicine (AMNM) is a collaboration between Alfardan Group and Northwestern Medicine based on a shared vision of delivering excellence in healthcare.
Alfardan Group in Qatar built a world-class medical facility, AMNM, that reflected the impeccable standards of Alfardan’s unmatched customer service. This luxury facility delivers a wholly unique model of medical care, creating a new benchmark of excellence in the Qatari medical landscape.
Having worked with Northwestern Medicine before, eLearning Brothers was a natural partner to develop a comprehensive online training program to prepare newly hired healthcare professionals, leaders, and employees to deliver the most advanced, patient-centric care with service excellence on day one of the AMNM facility opening and beyond.
This training program needed to accomplish several goals, including to:
» Onboard and orient a newly hired cadre of healthcare professionals and staff from all over the world to their jobs and roles at AMNM, as well as prepare them to operate a new polyclinic on opening day and beyond
» Lay the groundwork for AMNM’s unique organizational culture to take hold from the clinic opening and beyond
» Adapt the Northwestern Medicine (NM) model of care, including consultation on cultural adaptation of NM workflows, policies, and systems to the new AMNM clinic
» Enable a team of professionals and staff from diverse backgrounds and cultures to work effectively together in the Qatari culture and healthcare environment
» Provide training processes, systems, and materials that prepare the initial staff for opening day and help onboard the future staff
To meet this challenge, the ELB Learning team:
» Developed a comprehensive blended learning strategy
» Developed role-based learning paths
» Developed a variety of training and performance support materials
Over 24 months and with a budget of $1.47 million, the final blended learning program included:
6 Workshops with Participant Guides
23 Learning Paths
25 Clinical Workflows
8 Service and Safety Tools
4 Leadership Tools
7 Reinforcement Activities
